Bron and Chris’s Rainy Winter Wedding at Rockingham Yacht Club
On a rainy winter afternoon, I had the pleasure of capturing Bron and Chris’s wedding at the Rockingham Yacht Club. They had just completed their civil ceremony, and we had a brief window of time before their guests arrived. Despite the dreary weather, Bron and Chris were in high spirits.
They opted for my 3-hour photography package, aiming for a casual vibe as they were a bit camera shy. We took a quick tour around the local area, capturing fun and relaxed images of the couple and their two witnesses.
In just 30 minutes, we explored the block and found some great spots, especially loving those blank or wall art walls that added a unique touch to the photos.
As we headed towards the jetty, dark clouds began to gather. We managed to snap a few shots before making a quick dash back to the club. The rain didn’t stop us from capturing memorable and beautiful moments. Finding the perfect backdrop, even on a gloomy day, truly highlights the magic of wedding photography.
Bron was eager to greet and welcome their friends and family. The cocktail-style reception featured some tender moments with loved ones, particularly the grandparents. By the time I left, the food had been enjoyed and the DJ was gearing up for a lively evening.
