What Family Photography Means at Wildfolie
Family photography isn’t about perfect outfits or everyone smiling at the camera. It’s about the way your kids wrap their arms around you, the chaos of pets running through the frame, the quiet moments between the noise, and the stories you’ll want to remember years from now. Your session is relaxed, playful and completely tailored to your family’s energy — whether you’re a bush‑walking crew, a backyard‑barefoot family, or a snuggle‑on‑the‑couch household.
What to Expect
Before Your Session
Most families pop into my studio for a quick meet‑and‑greet before their session. It’s a relaxed chance to chat through what you’re hoping for, choose a location that suits your family, and look over the price guide together. I’ll also give you my simple What to Wear guide. Meeting face‑to‑face helps everyone feel comfortable — it’s always nice to put a face to the name and it makes the actual session feel so much more relaxed.
During Your Session
Expect movement, play, cuddles and a whole lot of “just be yourselves.” I’ll guide you gently when needed, but most of the magic comes from letting your family interact naturally. There’s usually a few bad fart jokes, some chaos, and plenty of laughter — whatever gets everyone relaxed and having fun.
After Your Session
Once your images are ready, you’ll come back to my studio for a relaxed viewing appointment. You’ll see your curated gallery on the big screen, choose your favourite images, and explore artwork options together — albums, framed pieces, wall collections and heirloom keepsakes. There’s absolutely no hard sell and you’ll never be pushed into anything you don’t want. Payment plans are available too, so you can choose what you love in a way that feels comfortable for your family.
